Managing File Upload
This chapter provides tutorial examples and notes about managing file upload with PHP. Topics include creating Web form for user to select and submit uploaded files; creating PHP script to process uploaded files on the Web server.

File Upload PHP Script
- Web form for file upload requires <form method="POST" enctype="multipart/form-data", ...>
to ensure the HTTP request being generated correctly to send files.
- Web form for file upload also needs to have
<input type="file" ...> fields to allow users to select one or more files
from the local computer to be uploaded to the Web server.
- Web server side PHP script can use retrieve information from $_FILES
to inspect and process uploaded files,
which are stored in temporary location by the PHP engine.
