Stop StoneMIND Collector on Windows
This section provides a tutorial example on how to stop StoneMIND Collector on a Windows computer, including its background processes.
Once you have used StoneMIND Collector on your Windows computer, it will launch 6 background processes to perform OCSR (Optical Chemical Structure Recognition) tasks.
But those 6 background processes keep running even if you stops using StoneMIND Collector and closed its window.
Here is what I did to stop StoneMIND Collector completely, including its background processes.
1. Close the StoneMIND Collector window.
2. Right-mouse click on the StoneMIND Collector icon in the tasktray and click "Quit" to stop its background processes.
3. Open Task Manager to make sure that all StoneMIND Collector processes are terminated.
