What Is Bitcoin Wallet
This section describes what is Bitcoin Wallet.
A Bitcoin Wallet is a tool that stores the digital credentials for your Bitcoin account and allows you to receive and send Bitcoin funds.
Your Bitcoin Wallet makes you feel like a place to store your Bitcoins. But actually, your Bitcoins are store in the Bitcoin network. Your Bitcoin Wallet only interacts with the Bitcoin network to access your Bitcoins.
Bitcoin Wallets are provided by different service providers and are divided into 4 categories:
1. Mobile Wallet - A smart phone app installed on your Android, or iPhone devices. Mobile Wallet providers are breadwallet, Coin.Space Electrum, Bither, Green Address, Airbitz, ArcBit, etc.
Mobile Wallet is very convenient, since you can carry it with you anywhere you go.
2. Desktop Wallet - A desktop application installed on your Windows, Mac or Linux computer. Desktop Wallet providers are Bitcoin Knots, Bitcoin Core, Green Address, ArcBit, etc.
3. Web Wallet - A cloud service accessible with a Web browser. Web Wallet providers are BitGo, Coinapult, Coin.Space, Green Address.
Web Wallet very easy to use. But it is the most insecure wallet, since your account access information is located on the server of the wallet provider.
4. Hardware Wallet - A hardware device to attached to a computer to access your Bitcoin account. Hardware Wallet providers are: Trezor, Digital Bitbox, KeepKey, Ledger Nano S.
Hardware Wallet is the most secure wallet, since wallet is detached from the Internet most of the time.
