This section provides a tutorial example on how to verify that Adobe Flash Player is installed properly for IE 10 on Windows systems

After finishing the installation process of Adobe Flash Player for IE, how do you know it is installed properly? Here is what I did to verify the installation:

1. Open the installation log file, FlashInstall.log, in C:\WINDOWS\system32\Macromed\Flash. The log file contains these lines:

2. Run "Add or Remove Programs" in Control Panel. You see "Adobe Flash Player 13 ActiveX" listed as an installed program.

3. Run IE 10 and visit the Adobe Flash Player test page at http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/. You see "You have version 13,0,0,214 installed" displayed in the "Version Information" box in the middle of the page.
