Enabling Adobe Flash Player Plugin

This section provides a tutorial example on how to disable Pepper Flash plugin and enable Adobe Flash Player plugin in Chrome 35.

After finishing the installation process of the Adobe Flash Player Plugin for Chrome on a Windows 7 system, we can now change Chrome configuration to use the Adobe Flash Player plugin instead of the integrated Pepper Flash plugin.

1. Run Chrome 35 and type in "chrome://plugins" in the Web page address field. You will see a list of all plugins currently installed in Chrome.

2. Click the "Details" link on the top right corner of the page until you see details showing up for each plugin type.

3. Scroll down to the "Adobe Flash Player" plugin type section, you will see 2 plugins displayed with these details:

4. Click the "Disable" link bellow Pepper Flash plugin. You will see the Pepper Flash plugin details displayed with a gray background.

5. Keep the Adobe Flash Player plugin enable.

6. Type in http://www.adobe.com/software/flash/about/ in the address field. You see "You have version 13,0,0,214 installed" displayed in the "Version Information" box in the middle of the page.
