"Conduit Search" Ad after Reinstalling Firefox

This section provides a unique symptom of malware 'Conduit Search' of displaying a full page ad after you reinstalling your Web browser.

Another unique symptom of malware "Conduit Search" is that it displays full page advertisement to you if you restall your browser. Here is my first-hand experience on a Windows 7 system:

1. Firefox gets infected by "Conduit Search".

2. Uninstall Firefox using "Control Panel > Uninstall a program".

3. Download Firefox 26.

4. Install Firefox 26.

5. Start Firefox. I saw a full web page advertisement asking me to answer a survey to win a iPhone.

6. Restart Firefox. I saw a full web page advertisement from "Mr PC Cleaner" asking me to download a free software to clean up my PC.
